  A church that loves God and his word. Truth will always be preached. The pastor has a love and a burden for the people and isnt afraid to stand for the truth of God's word even in the face of adversity. I would not trade this church for any other. For there is none other. Matt. 16:18 .... Upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail agaist it.

  I have been going to The Rock Church since May of 2010. I was there because of job requirement at the time. I keep going because I have never been to a church where I felt the Holy Spirit move the way it does at this church. A church that is founded on the principles of the first church. A Pastor who believes in his people and has compassion and long suffering for all. I met my husband here and this is my family.

  I have been a part of this church for almost 10 years! When I came to western North Carolina I was broken and empty, I was searching for a sliver of hope in my broken world. I not only found hope but the power to change my life. I will forever be appreciative to my church family for the constant love and support I'm given. Our pastor is the most compassionate long suffering man I know. He preaches the truth and loves people. I love The Rock!!

  The Rock Church and the Truth that is preached there has forever changed my life. Without the word of God I would still be a shell of a person who depended on drugs to function. Without the Church I would not have had a support system to answer my questions and build my faith so that I could go on and spread the wonderful things God has brought into my life. The pastor goes above and beyond for his congregation. His congregation being Western NC. Long suffering is newly defined by this man of God and his wife. You both have a love for God, Truth and people. We love you for that, Thank you

  I was invited to The Rock back in February by a friend, my every intention was to give up and quit church before going to visit. I went it was on a Sunday night, let's just say this is my home church and as far as me and my 3 babies we aren't going nowhere!! They may be days where I feel like I can't make but I get up and I push myself to go. The pastor preaches/teaches the truth and ain't afraid to tell you like it is. I would rather have a pastor tell me if I'm doing something wrong so I can fix it instead of one to pat me on the back and say well done when I know I was in the wrong. I have never had not one word spoken to me that was bad and because the Lord is moving so greatly in my life, the kids and I are moving to be close to our home church and to make a big change that is needed. The women at church care so much that if I go to the front to pray I am swarmed with hands being laid on me. I have never had a bad experience yet and the best one yet was getting baptized in the name of Jesus on Easter morning!! This church is definitely filled with love and The Holy Ghost :)
